Meeting of Organizing Committee of International Expoforum Building, Architecture, Real Estate held
On the 22nd of July in the Ministry of Regional Development, Construction and Communal Living of Ukraine the meeting of the Organizing Committee of the International Expoforum Building, Construction, Real Estate to be held at the KyivExpoPlaza exhibition center on October 6-8, 2016.
The meeting was opened by V.A. Nehoda, co-president of the Organizing Committee, 1st Deputy Minister of Regional Development, Construction and Communal Living of Ukraine.
In his speech, P.S. Shyliuk, co-president of the Organizing Committee, President of Construction Chamber of Ukraine, Hero of Ukraine, characterized the main tasks set forth by the Expoforum organizers.
The concept of the exhibition was agreed along with the concepts of the event to be held as part of it.
It was remarked that holding the Building, Architecture, Real Estate exhibition to be held by Kyiv International Contract Fair in cooperation with Construction Chamber of Ukraine and Architects Union of Ukraine would be an important event for the whole construction complex of the country.
Organizers plan to demonstrate that in Ukraine not only “square meters” were built, but also wonderful buildings with non-standard architecture solutions, and apartments comfortable to live in. Thus, more innovative technologies and modern sustainable construction materials would be used.
In the frames of the exhibition, the Marathon of Projects was expected to be held, where Ukraine’s leading architects would demonstrate their best works intended to reveal investment attractiveness of Ukrainian construction industry.
Involvement of architecture community to organization of exhibition events provide reasons to hope for higher quality of expositions, its aesthetic and intellectual component, and, furthermore, increase of interest to it from visitors and potential investors. The exhibition has to offer the achievements of construction industry, including architecture and design.
Yet, it is important to show the problems stimulating further development of the industry, interfere with all construction process participants, i.e. constructors, architects, designers and investors. Ukrainian professionals have achievements able to improve the situation considerably. This should be discussed during the Round Table meeting intended to be held during the Exhibition.
Not only professionals of construction complex and architecture organizations, representatives of adjacent sectors, but also representatives of state authorities, local self-government are planned to be invited to the events to be held during the Expoforum.
These ideas were aired by V.M. Husakov, president of Architects Union of Ukraine, O.P. Koval, General Director of Kyiv International Contract Fair, S.T. Stashevskyi, 1st Vice President of Construction Chamber of Ukraine and other participants of the meeting.
